Celine Dion kicked off her series of concerts in Nanterre, near Paris on Saturday. Dion was seen tearing up as she opened the show with the song ‘On ne change pas’, followed by ‘Destin.’ The singer returned to the stage on Saturday for her first full concert in six years, to open a sell-out Paris residency after a battle with a rare neurological disorder put a pause in her career. One of the best-selling music artists of all time, she is due to perform a series of 26 concerts over the next eight months. The concerts at an arena in the Paris suburb of Nanterre, unveiled on her 58th birthday in March, are set to draw fans from all over the world.
