A 24-year-old Mississippi man, Daricka M. Moore, was arrested after a Friday night rampage where he allegedly killed six people—his father, brother, uncle, 7-year-old cousin, a church pastor, and the pastor’s brother—at three separate locations in a rural area of Clay County.

Daricka M. Moore, 24, was arrested in Cedarbluff, Mississippi, following a violent Friday night rampage that resulted in the deaths of six people. Authorities state Moore first killed his father, Glenn Moore (67), his brother, Quinton Moore (33), and his uncle, Willie Ed Guines (55), at the family's mobile home in western Clay County. He then allegedly stole his brother’s truck, drove to a cousin's house, where he attempted sexual battery and fatally shot a 7-year-old girl, also threatening a younger child. Moore then proceeded to the Apostolic Church of The Lord Jesus, where he broke into a residence, killing the pastor, Rev. Barry Bradley, and his brother, Samuel Bradley, before stealing their vehicle. Moore was apprehended at a police roadblock just before midnight, approximately four-and-a-half hours after the initial report. He was found with a rifle and a handgun. Moore is currently held without bail at the Clay County jail on murder charges, and Clay County District Attorney Scott Colom has indicated he expects to pursue the death penalty. The motive behind the killings remains unknown, and investigators are actively interviewing Moore.
