Taylor Swift is returning to the big screen next month with an exclusive AMC Theatres event for the release of her 12th studio album, “The Life of a Showgirl”. The nearly 90-minute show, titled “The Official Release Party of a Showgirl,” will play in all 540 AMC theaters across the U.S. from October 3rd to 5th, and will also be shown in Mexico, Canada, and Europe. The event will include a music video for the new track “The Fate of Ophelia”, behind-the-scenes footage, lyric videos, and never-before-seen personal reflections from Swift on her songs. This follows her record-breaking Eras Tour and the successful release of her concert movie, also through AMC Theatres, bypassing Hollywood studios. Tickets are available online. This is Swift’s first release since regaining control of her entire body of work after purchasing the catalog of her first six albums. The album release was promoted by Swift's fiancé, Travis Kelce, and his brother Jason Kelce on their podcast, “New Heights.”
