Melania Trump rang the opening bell at the New York Stock Exchange, leveraging the high-profile business platform to promote her upcoming documentary, 'Melania,' ahead of its theatrical release.

First Lady Melania Trump rang the opening bell at the New York Stock Exchange on Wednesday morning, using the high-profile platform to generate buzz for her documentary, 'Melania,' set to be released later this week. Standing on the iconic marble stage with her film's signage emblazoned behind her, she was joined by NYSE President Lynn Martin and Chairman Jeffrey Sprecher. Following the bell-ringing, Trump high-fived Sprecher and posed for a selfie with the executives, admiring the black-and-white documentary logo she designed. Prior to the ceremony, Trump received a commemorative NYSE medallion from Martin. This promotional event follows a private screening of the film at the White House, attended by prominent business leaders including Apple's Tim Cook, Amazon's Andy Jassy, AMD's Lisa Su, and Zoom's Eric Yuan. Trump has previously touted the film, which documents the 20 days around her return to the White House, as a driver of job growth. Amazon MGM Studios has reportedly invested significantly, with a $40 million deal and a $35 million marketing budget, making the film's box office performance a crucial test. 'Melania' premieres Thursday at the Kennedy Center, with a theatrical release on Friday.
