A Powerball ticket purchased in Cabot, Arkansas, located 26 miles northeast of Little Rock, secured a massive $1.817 billion jackpot in Wednesday’s Christmas Eve drawing. The winning numbers were 04, 25, 31, 52, 59, with Powerball 19. This unprecedented win concludes a 46-consecutive-drawing period without a top-prize winner, making it the second-largest jackpot in U.S. history and the largest Powerball prize of 2025. The winner has the option of a lump sum cash payment of $834.9 million. Powerball Product Group Chair Matt Strawn congratulated the winner, emphasizing the life-changing nature of the prize and acknowledging players' contributions to public programs. This is Arkansas's second Powerball jackpot win, with the last Christmas Eve win occurring in 2011. The odds of winning the jackpot are 1 in 292.2 million.
