Nashua, NH - A gunman opened fire at the Sky Meadow Country Club in Nashua, New Hampshire on Saturday, resulting in one fatality and multiple injuries. The victim was an adult male, according to Attorney General John Formella and Nashua Police Chief Kevin Rourke. Authorities apprehended an adult male suspect at the scene; initial reports of two shooters proved inaccurate. Police confirmed there is no ongoing threat to the public. Witnesses described a chaotic scene unfolding near a wedding reception. One witness, Tom Bartelson, reported hearing approximately six shots and described the shooter as seemingly targeting a specific individual, while stating "the children are safe" and "free Palestine." Another witness, Evie O’Rourke, was searching for her son who was reportedly shot and injured. Emily Ernst described the shooter as wearing all black and a mask. The motive remains under investigation. Information on the conditions of the wounded is pending. Nashua Mayor Jim Donchess expressed confidence in the police investigation and emphasized the potential for such events to occur anywhere.
