Former NBA MVP Russell Westbrook is set to join the Sacramento Kings, a move confirmed by a person familiar with the agreement and his agent. The 36-year-old guard, entering his 18th season, brings a decorated career to Sacramento. Westbrook holds the all-time record for triple-doubles with 203 and ranks 20th in NBA history with 26,205 points and eighth with 9,925 assists. A nine-time All-Star, he won an MVP award during his tenure with the Oklahoma City Thunder, where he also secured two scoring titles and two All-Star MVP awards. Since leaving the Thunder, he has played for the Houston Rockets, Washington Wizards, Los Angeles Lakers, Los Angeles Clippers, and Denver Nuggets. Last season with Denver, he averaged 13.3 points, 4.9 rebounds, and 6.1 assists.
