CNN chief media analyst Brian Stelter revealed this development, noting that reporters would 'get creative' to gain access. An official from the First Lady's office confirmed that CNN reporter Betsy Klein, a senior White House reporter whose press pass was previously seized, was credentialed for the event, which is set to take place on the sidelines of the United Nations General Assembly. The event will focus on private sector partnerships with tech companies. President Trump had abruptly unveiled the ban, citing 'FAKE NEWS' from the outlets on Truth Social. In response, CNN and the other banned outlets filed a lawsuit against Trump and his advisers, arguing the restriction violates the First Amendment. On Monday, a judge gave the Trump administration until Tuesday to respond to the lawsuit, while the White House television pool also announced it would suspend its coverage of Trump, stating that no administration should restrict a news organization based on objections to its reporting.
