Patrick Mahomes, the star quarterback for the Kansas City Chiefs, is set to make his highly anticipated return to the field for 'Monday Night Football' in Week 1, nine months after undergoing surgery to repair a torn ACL and LCL in his left knee. Speaking to reporters, Mahomes asserted that he will play 'no-limits football,' stating, 'I’ve built up the strength [in my knee] and built up all the days of rehab so that I can be myself.' He confirmed his intention to maintain his competitive playing style, including running the ball if necessary, despite the injury sustained in a December 14 game. Mahomes' coach, Andy Reid, echoed this sentiment, confirming that the team’s offensive game plan will remain unchanged. The Chiefs will host the Broncos on September 14 for their season opener.
