Wildfire Sniper Massacre: Two Firefighters Dead, One Critical

The suspect, whose name was not released, opened fire on first responders for several hours. A shelter-in-place order was lifted after a tactical team, using cell phone data, located the suspect’s body with a firearm nearby, as flames approached. Authorities believe the fire and shooting were intentional. Two firefighters died at the hospital, while the third is in stable condition after surgery. The sheriff stated that investigators believe the gunman acted alone.
