Major tech companies like Apple, Amazon, Microsoft, and Google, alongside other prominent donors, are privately funding President Trump's proposed 90,000-square-foot ballroom, estimated to cost up to $300 million.
President Donald Trump's ambitious plan for a 90,000-square-foot ballroom is reportedly being funded by a roster of major corporations and influential individuals, not taxpayers. According to the White House, donors include tech giants such as Apple, Amazon, Lockheed Martin, Microsoft, Google, Coinbase, Comcast, and Meta. Other significant contributors mentioned are cryptocurrency exchange Gemini co-founders Tyler and Cameron Winklevoss, Commerce Secretary Howard Lutnick and his family, and the Adelson family, notably Miriam Adelson, a Republican megadonor who received the Presidential Medal of Freedom from Trump in 2018. While the administration initially estimated the project's cost at $200 million, Trump recently stated it would be "about $300 million."
